Halloween is almost here and I really like it. That's why I thought I share some weird facts about Halloween with you.

Welsh and Celtic traditions believe the dead visit the living on October 31st….and let the haunting begin. They would were masks on that day so the spirits of the dead would not recognize them.

By the 1930’s these practical jokes began to get dangerous and serious damage was being done on Halloween. This is how “trick or Treat”, the movement to have children go door-to-door and ask for candy began as a substitute for wild pranks and vandalism that was getting out of control in the cities across America.

Jack o’ lanterns or carved pumpkins as they are known today, originated in Ireland where people put candles in hollowed-out turnips to keep away evil spirits and ghosts on the Samhain holiday
